School Year | About Uganda | The Johnson's | Home

The Ugandan School Systems is organized as follows:

Primary Grades
P1 through P7
Following P7 the students take a Primary Leaving Exam

Secondary Grades
S1 through S4
Following S4 the students take the UNEB Uganda National Examination Board
S5 and S6
These final two grades are for students who excelled in the UNEB and are allowed to pick three courses of specialized study (sort of a prep school)

Additional Studies
Students who qualify have a number of options such as the university, technical school, Bible college, etc.

In each case, P1 and up, students must be able to pay school fees in order to attend school. To help ease this burden on orphans, Hope School was founded and is a major portion of the work of the Good Samaritan Sponsorhip Project. Ugandan School Year
