This and the two books that follow are all by well known Bible teacher, Louis Berkhof. This title is his complete systematic thology and is for the serious student of the Scriptures. The Manual of Christian Doctrine is a shorter version of the systematic thology and the Summary is even shorter. All three are good but really have different readers in mind.

It is very helpful to put a simple overview of basic Christian teacing (doctrine) in the hands of Ugandan pastors. One of the best books along this line is little book by Louis Berkhoff. It is in plain languarge, well organized, covers the basic teachings Christians have believed for two thousand years.
