A Typical Day of Ministry In Uganda

7:00 a.m. Quite time Schedule variation notes:
  • Medical team members speak some, but most of their time is spent helping improve the skills of Ugandan care givers
  • Students typically visit several schools in a day
  • At some conferences, the third and sixth sessions are question and answer sessions, in other cases the sixth session might be used for an open air campaign or hut-to-hut sharing when the entire team would usually involved
  • In areas where electric lights are dependable, we sometimes have an evening session as well
  • On the Lord's Day, all team members share in Sunday School, small groups, etc., and the pastor's preach
  • Remember, depending on where you live in the US, Uganda is 8 time zones or more ahead of you. Therefore, we ask you to pray for our ministry day as you go to bed. (eg on Sunday night, pray for our Monday schedule)
