One great and useful gift (no electricity in many remote areas) is an inflatable solar light as seen above. On one side is the solar panel and finger grip. On the other side is an inflatable translucent pocket that serves as a diffuser for the LED lights. Uninflated, it is about only about one half inch thick so it is easy to pack.

These generally sell for $9.00 or less. However, if you order only one, the shipping charges will be more than the light. Therefore, we order them a couple of dozen at a time and have them on hand.
