Chattahoochee Presbyterian Church

When Bob is not in Uganda or otherwise committed, he teaches Adult Sunday School and preaches at the Chattahoochee Presbyterian Church. It is a typical small town Presbyterian Church where in the last 40 years, the vast majority of its young people grew up, went to college and have moved to larger cities where they can find work. Periodically, the congregation holds a covered dish luncheon following worship. It is very common for some who live in Tallahassee or Marianna to come back home on that day.
The church was founded in 1915 by the Presbyterian Church, US (PCUS) and in 1974 it became part of the group of churches and churchmen who founded Gulf Coast Presbytery of the PCA.
75th Anniversary Photo
The congregation celebrated its 100th anniversary on June 21, 2015.
