The photograph below was taken in February 1996 and shows the very first Hope School classroom (a Mango tree) with Christopher Mwesigye teaching using a blackboard leaning against the tree. It was a humble beginning, but a beginning built on a foundation of great faith. The back side of New Life Presbyterian Church is seen in the background.
