Covenant High School Kampala|
Greetings once again. LMPC contributed $15,000 to Worldwide Christian Schools contributed $20,000 to the project, and Dale Dielman plans to visit the school I believe this week to see progress firsthand. I talked with the school's headmaster and there are currently about 60-70 students attending. Three classrooms and an administrative office are complete, with foundation laid for two more classrooms. The second story of school is ready also for an additional story for 2 additional classrooms. The teachers are all born-again believers, with the exception of two part-time teachers. I stressed the need for the entire faculty to be Christian to help avoid the declines that have plagued historically Christian schools in America. I gained the impression that the school is progressing according to plan and poised to expand as classrooms are completed. Thanks for this important contribution to the Christian education of Ugandans.
